Airport Transfer → Arctic City Hotel
Welcome to the official hometown of Santa Claus! Upon arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, your driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the city center.
Settle in, pick up your warm winter clothing (optional add-on), and enjoy your first evening in the Arctic Circle.
Included: Daily breakfast.

Northern Lights Hunt (Optional)
If the sky is clear, we recommend booking an evening Aurora hunting tour to search for the magical Northern Lights.

Santa Claus Village
Today we visit the world-famous Santa Claus Village. You can cross the Arctic Circle line, send a postcard from the Main Post Office, and of course, meet Santa Claus himself in his office.

Reindeer Safari
A short walk from the village brings you to a local reindeer farm. Meet the gentle animals, enjoy a traditional reindeer sleigh ride through the snowy forest, and receive your “Reindeer Driver’s License.”

Lunch
Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the village shops or visit Snowman World (entrance fees extra).

Husky Safari
After breakfast, prepare for some speed! You will visit a husky farm and drive your own team of sled dogs. The 10km safari takes you through white landscapes, with one person driving and one sitting in the sled (swap halfway).

Journey North
In the afternoon, we board our private transfer heading North. We drive deeper into Lapland, passing through snowy wilderness areas until we reach Ivalo/Saariselkä region.

Check-in
Arrival at your Igloo resort in Saariselkä. Dinner on your own at the hotel restaurant.

Snowmobiling
Get ready for Snowmobile adventure in Arctic Forest. Your guide will take you to the most beautiful spots in the nature, and you will enjoy hot drinks by the open fire.

Glass Igloo Night
Tonight is the highlight of the trip. You will check into a heated Glass Igloo. Lay back in your bed and watch the night sky. If you are lucky, the Northern Lights will dance right above you. The igloos are warm and cozy, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Dinner
A 3-course Lappish dinner is included at the resort restaurant this evening.

Transfer to Kirkenes
Today we cross the border into Norway. The landscape changes from forests to the rugged coastline of the Arctic Ocean. We drive past the sacred Lake Inari before reaching Kirkenes.

Snowhotel Visit
Upon arrival, we will visit the famous Kirkenes Snowhotel. Walk through the beautifully carved rooms made entirely of snow and ice. You can also visit the resident reindeers and huskies on site.

Check-in
Check-in to Thon Hotel Kirkenes, located right by the fjord. Enjoy the evening in this unique Arctic town.

The Ultimate Catch
Today you head out on the frozen fjord (by snowmobile sledge) to catch the giant King Crabs. Your guide will help you pull the traps from the ice.

The Feast
After the catch, you will be transferred to a rustic farmhouse by the fjord. Here, the crabs are prepared fresh for you. Enjoy a massive feast of fresh King Crab—it is considered one of the best seafood meals in the world.

Afternoon
Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Arctic Living
Spend your final day exploring the small town of Kirkenes. You can visit the Borderland Museum to learn about the history of the WWII border area between Norway and Russia, or simply take a walk along the harbor.

Farewell Dinner
Enjoy a final dinner (not included) at one of the local restaurants, celebrating the end of your Arctic expedition.

Overnight at Thon Hotel Kirkenes.

Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Kirkenes Airport for your flight home, or continue your journey further into Norway.
